2,200+ Public Domain Articles from The Expository Times available for free download
The Expository Times is one of the United Kingdom’s longest-running theological journals, having been published monthly from 1889 to the present day. Like other publications published in this country, the copyright lasts for the lifetime of the author + 70 years. This means that articles enter the public domain in a piecemeal manner and require careful research to establish the date of death of the authors before they can be legally placed online.1 According to my research, over 2,200 articles from The Expository Times are now public domain and can be accessed via the table of contents.
I have listed some of the interesting public domain articles below according so subject. Please that inclusion in this list does not imply my personal endorsement.
