Theology on the Web at 25: Achievement #7: Celebrating Festschrifts!
What is a Festschrift?
A Festschrift is a collection of writings published in honour of a scholar and they are particularly popular in the field of theology. Invariably, they contain very interesting essays on a wide range of topics, and I encourage students to seek them out as a way of broadening their knowledge of the subject. For that reason I have sought permission from a number of publishers to host festschrifts on biblicalstudies.org.uk and have listed their contents below. Do let me know which is your favourite essay.
