Legends of Genesis by Hermann Gunkel

Today’s free book is a classic of Old Testament criticism, The Legends of Genesis, written by a leading member of the History of Religions School, Hermann Gunkel. This book is actually an English translation of the introduction to the author’s large commentary on Genesis.
