I first met Professor Millard whilst working at Liverpool Cathedral and it is no exaggeration to say that he played a significant part in the success of Theology on the Web. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">He was the first scholar to give his permission for one of his books (<em><a href=\"https:\/\/biblicalstudies.org.uk\/epn.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Essays on the Patriarchal Narratives<\/a><\/em>) to be digitised and encouraged other scholars to make their work available online. For some years I have hosted his bibliography on <a href=\"https:\/\/theologicalstudies.org.uk\/theo_millard.php\">TheologicalStudies.org.uk<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The brief entry on <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Alan_Millard\">Wikipedia<\/a> fails to do justice to his huge contribition to the work of <a href=\"https:\/\/tyndalehouse.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener nofollow\">Tyndale House in Cambridge<\/a> or to the wider field of Biblical Studies and Biblical Archaeology.
