Wheeler Robinson&#8217;s Religious Ideas of the Old Testament, The author states the purpose of the book as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\"><p>It is the aim of this book, within the limits of the series to which it belongs, to present these leading ideas in their historical setting, with some indication of their theological and philosophical value, and of their significance for Christianity.
